Why regular worm egg counts matter

There is no research into new horse wormers being done and the wormers we have, have been frequently overused. As a result, there is rising resistance to the active ingredients, which in turn makes the wormers less effective. To help slow this down, it is recommended to only worm your horse after a positive faecal worm egg count or positive test for tapeworm.

Our commitment to you and your animals.

At WEC Lab, every sample is tested with the same care and attention I would give my own horses. Using the recognised McMaster method, I provide accurate faecal egg counts with clear, easy-to-understand results and a personal service from start to finish.
